2009 saw me constantly in the studio!

First off, I've been busy putting together my second CD, which we are finally in the process of mixing. We've taken this record in a new direction, production-wise -- it's a bigger, edgier, and more live sound -- but the songs are just as personal and intimate as on "Songland". Can't wait to share it with everybody!

Actually, I can give you a taste right now -- "Carry Me Away," one of my newest songs, was used in a promo for the 2009 6th Annual Artivist Film Festival. Artivist is a terrific international organization that showcases powerful films from around the world to raise awareness for humanity, animals, and the environment. Check out the promo here.

Last year, I also recorded vocals for the incredibly talented shoegaze artist Paolo Gaspar, aka "Doves Over Pompeii," -- three tracks from his newest CD "Pale Skin Blue" (Parallax Records) can be heard on my MySpace page. It's dreamy beautiful stuff.

I've also been collaborating with a very gifted songwriter, John Perry, on a couple of tracks: "The Way That You Love Me" and "Waiting for the Fall." They came out sounding great and I hope we can do more!

Two of my newest songs were licensed by Heavy Hitters Music. They were original compositions that were made to order. I'm looking forward to the opportunity to get placement in TV or film.

Not to mention I was featured in a nationally distributed calendar created by the fabulous Mothers Acting Up, based on this music video which I made as a call for peace.

And as crazy as my schedule was in '09, I still managed to play a few live gigs, which I hope to do more of in '10. Details to come!

So add me as a friend on MySpace and if you feel inspired, join my Facebook fan page.

Thanks and check back soon.
